The Signal Calendar.

The publishing rhythm for the whole athletic year. Every post has a day, a pillar, and an owner, so the Signal runs on a rhythm instead of a scramble. The calendar sets the pattern; the Queue turns it into dated rows you can work today.

The rhythm

One week, on repeat.

The weekly shape never changes. That is the point: a pattern the student media team can run without being told, and families learn to expect.

The pillars

Nine kinds of post. Nothing else.

Every graphic Studio makes belongs to one of these, and every pillar maps to a template defined in the design library. Limiting the set is what makes one voice possible across every program.

The year

Twelve months, anchored to real Highlander seasons.

The weekly rhythm stays constant; these are the moments that get extra push. The year runs on the athletic calendar, August to July, so the plan matches what is actually happening in the Knobs.

Ownership: the student media team executes daily posts, coaches supply spotlights and quotes through the intake, and the AD approves anything involving student names or photos. Athlete names and faces run only with consent on file, per the department publishing policy.
